Description The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a healthcare company in the Evansville area to find a new Night Shift Patient Access Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate has a passion for customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, overnight position.Schedule: 6pm - 6am | 3 shifts per week, rotating days (weekends and holidays included)Responsibilities for the position include the following:
Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, and assist them with the registration process.
Collect and verify patient information, including demographic data, insurance information, and medical history.
Update patient records and maintain accurate patient files.
Schedule appointments and provide patients with information about their upcoming visits.
Answer patient questions and address concerns.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Strong computer skills
Strong customer service skills
Adhere to the guidelines set forth in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
