A private household is looking to hire an experienced Toddler Tutor / Preschool Teacher for their 3 kids. The position is Live-in only.
40 hours per week. Please, state your salary expectations when you are applying.
Please, only apply if you can follow strict Covid-protocols and agree to live in isolation for the period of your contract / 6 months minimum/. You can have visitors during your time off if they keep social distance.
Duties: Planning and carrying out curriculum. Helping children develop positive self-images and experience success. Encouraging the exploration of interests and developmental social skills. Developing schedules and routines ensuring physical activity, rest, and playtime.
Requirements:
Accredited Montessori certified strongly preferred but required
Bachelor degree in Education or Early Childhood
Additional courses or training in Education would be advantageous.
Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher
Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
Excellent communication and instructional skills
Ability to act as mediator between children
Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable
Certification in child CPR (or willing to become certified)
BSc/BA in education or relevant field
