Malone Staffing is hiring for an accounting specialist for a direct hire position starting at $45k per year for a great local company!
Process vendor invoices for payment and reconcile statements
Match receiving documents with P/O to ensure items received daily in the system
Verify GL accounts are credited and post batches
Print and mail A/P checks, employee reimbursement checks, commission checks
Set up New vendor accounts including W-9 requests
Resolve/track any discrepancies and vendor issues regarding payment or credit owed
print/send customer invoices with corresponding required customer documents
process payment from customer and follow up on unpaid invoices
Maintain filing system
Assist in other areas and serve as back up
Identify and resolve problems/inconsistencies, suggest appropriate corrective procedures
Enter material batches into shared file on server for customers who receive certifications
After results are entered, send certs to customers via email contacts set up in address book
Collect and enter inventory tickets into system
reconcile monthly bank statements, insurance statements (all insurance)
Maintain purchasing spreadsheet and track incoming orders following up with purchasing or with vendor
Purge W/O A/P, A/R, on annual basis
Enter freight invoices into purchasing sheet and freight sheet, resolve any discrepancies
Other duties as needed
Qualifications
1-2 years using Business Central experience.
2-3 Years Accounting experience
