Facilitates a positive relationship between personnel and management. Answers hourly employee questions on employee relations, compensation, benefits, and employee services. Follows Human Resources practices and objectives to provide accurate, timely and compliance driven achievement throughout the facility. Escalates payroll deviations and deadline concerns as critical issues to management. Coordinates implementation of projects with local and corporate Human Resources staff.Responsibilities:

Responsible forprocessing payrollreporting and activities

Compiling payroll process weeklyand submits reports accurately and on time

Coordinatesand processesOff Cycle paymentsas necessary

Enterscorrecting items from error report from Pay Card and Bank Returns

Completespayroll tasks as assign by supervisor/manager

Employee information resource for payroll and time keeping system

Answersquestions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters

Enterelectronicrecordsfor hourly personnel

Employee weekly and daily schedulesand adjustments

ID badges

Vacation, sick leave, etc.

Assist with governmental/compliance reporting

Assists in the management offiles and producing reports.

Manages Employee personnel files.

Creates HR reports when necessary.

Assumes other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Windows applications

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external customers at all levels

Highly organized and dependable

Self-starter and proactive

Education:

Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent

College experience preferred

Experience:

Minimum 3 years background experience in a packing plant with knowledge of all areas.

Minimum 2 years supervising employees in a food safe environment.

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)

SAP and Kronos knowledge preferred

2 years of experience in similar role preferred

Special Skills:

Computer skills, Microsoft excel at an intermediate level or better

Ability to read production reports

Interpersonal communication skills

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear.

Office and plant setting: the plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold (non-weather related), and working near moving mechanical parts

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
