Salary: This position traditionally starts at an hourly rate of $16.24 an hour. Salary for this position may be commensurate with education and job experience. Location: This position is in INDOT's Crawfordsville District. A Day in the Life:
General office duties such as scanning/filing/purging and organizing.
Assisting Permit Investigators in Billboard Inventory.
Assisting Permit Investigators in general permit investigations.
Other duties include data gathering and research relating to permits.
Performs miscellaneous labor tasks.
The work is a mixture of field and desk work.
What You'll Need for Success:
Valid high school diploma or GED preferred; or one (1) year of work experience.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, dragging, stooping, standing, and walking for long periods of time.
Basic computer skills.
Candidate will be required to submit to and pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
