Description We are offering a role in the financial services industry, specifically for an experienced Tax Reviewer, to be based in the Indianapolis area. This role will involve reviewing numerous tax returns, including individual and business tax returns, as well as some foreign returns. Using Intuit Online will be a key part of the role, as well as ensuring accuracy and compliance in all tax-related matters. Responsibilities: Assist with the review of various tax returns, including individual income tax returns and business tax returns. Review some foreign tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Utilize Intuit Online to efficiently review and manage tax returns. Verify the accuracy of tax returns and ensure all necessary documentation is included. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations. Show flexibility with working hours based on the volume of work and deadlines. Ability to work additional hours during peak tax season and reduce hours during slower periods. Maintain a high level of proficiency in using Intuit Online. Ensure accuracy and completeness of tax returns using the software. Handle the responsibilities of a Tax Reviewer in the financial services industry.Requirements Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Tax Reviewer role or similar position within the Financial Services industry. Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Individual Tax Returns is a must. Strong knowledge and experience in handling Income Tax Returns is required. Familiarity with Corporate Tax Returns is essential. Demonstrable experience with Federal Income Tax Returns is necessary. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred. Proficient with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
