Shipping Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Shipping Clerk in Butler, Indiana. The role will be based in our office, with some interaction on the production floor. The Shipping Clerk will be primarily responsible for managing outgoing shipments, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. Responsibilities: Manage outgoing shipments in a timely and efficient manner Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate order fulfillment Maintain inventory management and control Check-in and check-out truck drivers, ensuring smooth transitions Generate pack list for next day's shipments and prepare Bills of Lading Load trucks and stage/prepare loads for the next day Organize and arrange finished goods as needed Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions for various tasks Assist in auditing and clerical duties as required Provide support on the production floor when necessaryThis role requires proficiency in basic math skills for order verification and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. It also requires knowledge of order fulfillment processes and shipping/receiving procedures. Experience with ADP - Financial Services, Cerner Technologies, Epic Software, 'About Time', 'Answering Inbound Calls', and 'Charts - Graphs' is a plus but not required. Forklift operation experience is also a plus.
