EHS Intern

In this role you will assist in ensuring the facility’s compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and Therma-Tru EHS standards.  The successful candidate will be expected to adhere to established operational procedures and standard work to assist facility managers to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.YOUR ROLE: Facility Assessments:  We anticipate this job will be focused on creating LOTO procedures and ergonomic assessments for roughly 80% of the time.Training, Education, & Awareness:  Intern candidate will assist in task related to EHS training to help ensure environmental compliance, emergency response and legal liability issues.  Candidate may also assist in developing and maintaining compliance training database. Safety Cultural Development: Intern Candidate will support safety activities aimed at improving plantwide cultural initiatives. Safety Program Involvement: Intern Candidate must support safety initiatives, including driving participation, supplying data, and other tasks as assigned.  Candidate will participate in additional projects as time permits.
