Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities will included, but not be limited to:Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule program for applicable equipment and machineryRepair machinery throughout the plant, including forkliftsTrouble shoot and repair Electrical, mechanical, and PLC drives as needed on equipment.Schedule and prioritize maintenance needs to ensure coverage for unexpected breakdowns and to maximize department efficiencyWork with Plant Leadership to establish maintenance standards, procedures, and programs to ensure efficient operationsDesign and implement reactive maintenance log to capture real costs associated with the maintenance of equipmentObserve manufacturing process to propose and develop ways to implement automation and increase production efficiencyCoordinate and direct manufacturing team members to achieve efficient completion of repairs and preventative maintenanceEvaluate skills and abilities of production team to cross train and develop basic PM program through the shop floorProject management of capital purchases and process improvements; including the automation of processesMaintain budget while inventorying parts and ordering replacement parts for equipmentDevelop an inventory management strategy for the maintenance cribDevelop 5S practices to implement a visual environmentPurchasing repair parts and maintaining inventory of tools
