(1st and 2nd shift)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to inspect machined parts using calipers, micrometers, and a Mitutoyo CMM according to blueprint specifications. The role also involves testing assembled products, creating inspection check sheets, and issuing rework orders. Over time, there is an opportunity to advance into a leadership position and train other employees.Responsibilities
Inspect machined parts with calipers, micrometers, and a Mitutoyo CMM as per blueprint specifications.
Test assembled products to ensure quality standards are met.
Create inspection check sheets and rework orders.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
Collaborate with the quality team to improve processes and product quality.
Train and mentor other employees as you advance into a leadership role.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience as a quality inspector or in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge or experience with ISO 9001 standards.
Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and operating a CMM.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2-year technical degree (e.g., machine tool) is preferred.
Experience with set-up and/or programming of a CMM.
Prior leadership experience.
