Individual Giving Officer

The anticipated salary range for this position is 58,000-63,000/yrThe Indiana University Foundation is seeking an Individual Giving Officer (IGO) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to launch or continue your fundraising career. As an IGO, you'll engage in two primary areas of fundraising: cultivating leadership annual giving donors and identifying prospective major gift donors. In this role, you'll also be responsible for soliciting philanthropic gifts, ensuring that your outreach and relationship-building efforts directly support IU’s fundraising goals. You'll collaborate with partners across Indiana University’s campuses, working closely with the Donor Experience Officer role to coordinate outreach and share insights within your assigned travel territory. Your work will be driven by clear metrics and goals for outreach, donor meetings, dollars raised and pipeline growth.   Your time will be spent traveling and connecting with alumni and donors whose interests align with IU's mission, often through strategic email outreach and meaningful in-person engagement. This position offers the opportunity to develop broad experience in front-line fundraising while positioning you for continued professional growth.
