About the Chain O'Lakes Correctional Facility: As a part of the Indiana Department of Correction, the Chain O’Lakes Community Re-Entry Center promotes public safety by providing meaningful, effective opportunities for successful re-entry. We strive to model best Correctional practices, return productive citizens to our communities, and inspire a culture of accountability, integrity and professionalism. The Chain O’Lakes Community Re-Entry Center is a minimum security facility for adult males. The Chain O’Lakes Community Re-Entry Center is located in Albion, Indiana. The Chain O’Lakes Community Re-Entry Center is in Noble County, located inside the Chain O’Lakes State Park. The facility offers a wide variety of educational and treatment programs to aid incarcerated individuals with their transition back into the community during the last 36 months of their sentence. The facility also provides a variety of work crews throughout northeast Indiana to help maintain Pokagon State Park and Chain O’Lakes State Park. Crews work closely with the Noble County Surveyor's office, Indiana Department of Transportation and the local community on special projects that range from helping place sandbags during flooding to planting and maintaining flowers around the community. Salary: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $16.24/hr but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
