Description We're looking for a skilled and motivated PC Technician to join our technology-driven team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our hardware equipment, including receiving, shipping, and boxing. The role also requires technical competence to configure laptops according to the company's needs.Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store all hardware equipment arriving at our workspace.
Safely box hardware equipment ready for shipment and oversee the shipping process to ensure secure and on-time delivery.
Configure laptops according to company specifications and user requirements, ensuring optimal performance.
Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Record and document all hardware equipment received and shipped, maintaining up-to-date inventory records.
Perform regular maintenance to ensure functionality and longevity of all equipment.
Collaborate with other technical staff to meet hardware and software needs.
Requirements
Proven experience as a PC Technician or a similar role.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving protocols.
Knowledge of various hardware equipment and software systems.
Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting laptops.
Superior problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Technical certification like CompTIA A+ would be beneficial.
