Employees focal point is picking package freight for the direct market customers.How You’ll Make an Impact
Employees must work in a safe and efficient manner to pick/build pallets, load/unload trucks, perform inventory counts, receive inbound freight, and label product as needed.
Employees are also responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of their dock/warehouse areas, powered industrial trucks and equipment. They are required to complete inspections and communicate any issues with their equipment, including but not limited to powered industrial trucks, lifts, PPE, dock, pallet jacks, and drum cart.
Employees must also complete safety and quality training as designated by Valvoline.
Employees will periodically have to troubleshoot equipment to help facilitate the repair or resolution of issues.
Employees are responsible to punch in/out in a timely manner, handle some minor administrative tasks, clear garbage bins on the floor and sweep their area along with other applicable tasks may be assigned by plant management to meet both safety and customer service requirements.
Employees in the group support and backup the team lead position as needed.
Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You’ll Need
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time, lift 50 lbs multiple times per day, bend/squat for lifting, pull a hose, climb stairs & ladders, operate both manual (or) electric pallet jacks & manual (or) electric drum carts, and operate a powered industrial truck.
Computer literate to use email, SAP, and LMS
Must be able to pass Hazwopper training
Must be able to operate a powered industrial truck
Read and write English
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
