Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity, based in Willowbrook, Illinois, for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant. The role is in the telecom provider industry and will primarily involve receptionist duties and administrative tasks. The work will be carried out on-site, providing a key point of contact and support for our team.Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for our office, greeting guests and handling incoming calls. Efficiently process work orders, ensuring they are correctly recorded and distributed. Act as a receptionist, managing the front desk and maintaining a welcoming environment. Handle filing duties, ensuring all records are kept up-to-date and are easily accessible. Demonstrate patience and excellent communication skills when interacting with our older demographic, opting for verbal communication over email when appropriate. Carry out any other administrative tasks as required, contributing to the smooth operation of our office. Requirements Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office administrative assistant. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular). Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Experience in handling receptionist duties, including managing phone calls and customer service inquiries. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Adaptability and flexibility to changes in priorities and schedules.
