THIS IS A 12 HOUR ROTATING DAY SHIFT POSITION- 6AM - 6PMPosition Purpose: The Maintenance Technician – Injection Molding is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairs on various types of injection molding machines, demolding robotic systems, and auxiliary molding support equipmentKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe working conditions Read, use, and interpret measuring devices, gauges and inspection tools Perform all required necessary preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment Check and maintain quality of product being produced by identifying acceptable and non-acceptable product in accordance with Quality policies and procedures Actively participate on teams and offer suggestions for improvement Answer machine alarms as they occur and identify and address the root cause.  Follow all 5S guidelines  Perform and document inspections per cGMP for work instruction sheet, on device history sheet records, and work instruction sheet tables Follow all Lock Out/Tag Out rules Diagnose and troubleshoot any pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical malfunction on a variety of machines  Repair and maintain electrical controls on equipment, including servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines and devicesAssist with uploading programs to controls in the events of program loss or CPU replacement Repair robot arms and controls, including replacing bad boards, motors, encoders, etc.  Calibrate and adjust robot pick and place locations if needed Conduct TPM activities as required Input Maintenance work orders into the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (SAP)  Monitor processes, show an awareness of issues and demonstrate corrective actions to address those issues  Perform weekly, monthly, and as required preventive maintenance (PM)  Perform root cause analysis for safety, quality, and processing issues Suggest ways to improve the efficiency and safety of our work and environmentComply with all company policies  Must be able to fluently operate presses, robots, and auxiliary equipment to diagnose malfunctions, and to verify repairs. Troubleshoots and locates the source of the problem by observing the operation of the equipment. Brainstorms with other maintenance personnel, and outside technical support as needed. Restores damaged or malfunctioning equipment to operation by repairing, replacing and or adjusting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Controls down time by scheduling repairs with the Maintenance Leader Maintains good communications with Maintenance Leader  Maintains ongoing list of CMMS work orders with timeline to be addressed and completed. Assists other maintenance personnel as needed, Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Ensures the work is completed with technical excellence, and in an efficient and cost-effective fashion. Other duties as assigned
