Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionThe new hire will provide solid technical skill and engineering support for design and development activities for new and existing products; support current products in terms of quality, manufacturing, supply continuity and cost improvement; participate in executing technical and/or cross-functional project work; and, where necessary, translate customer needs into engineering requirements into specific product, packaging and process specification.Responsibilities:
Lead projects (e.g. design control) for modifications to existing products.
Execution of sustaining type projects.
Supplier-to-Supplier transfer.
Drive product line extensions.
Independently tests, analyzes and solves technical problems.
Applies statistical techniques and utilizes design of experiments.
Coordinate cross-functional team activities to meet project deliverables.
Support on-going international registration requests.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
Experience using SolidWorks highly desirable.
A minimum of 3+ years related work experience in medical device industry required.
Demonstrates working knowledge of Design Control, Design Verification and Process Validation required.
Experience working with laser marking and passivation processes desirable.
