Come help organizations be their best, while you reach new heights with a team that has your back.RoleThe Deal Operations Analyst is responsible for successfully guiding the end-to-end quote to cash cycle ensuring consistency and adherence with Splunk strategy, commitments, and goals and compliance with Splunk policies and procedures. The candidate is a high-energy, team-first, valuable business partner who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Working collaboratively with Sales, Legal, Finance and other GTM Operations teams, you’ll be supporting the Global Sales organization in ensuring accurate deal/quote/order structure and providing guidance on transactions always with a focus on financial and revenue compliance.Responsibilities

Act as an SME in all aspects of the account management, transaction processing from opportunity to booking, including educating and training Sales on the use of systems and processes.

Document recurring system and access related issues logged by internal teams and Sales to drive process improvement initiatives with transformation teams.

Work one-on-one with Sales to structure complex quotes and to certify company standards are followed accordingly.

Proactively engage with Sales Reps to precheck opportunity transactions, booking documents and quotes for open deals before Quarter/Year-end.

Troubleshoot system errors and give clear instructions to Sales Reps to fix the errors in a timely manner.

Guide Sales and other Operations Team Members with completing quotes including providing ad-hoc training when needed.

Create, update, cleanse and enrich accounts, researching through available data sources, manual correction, or using automation tools.

Serve as an Operations POC with Partner Operations, Distribution Operations, Sales Operations, Partner Development, Deal Strategy & Execution and Order Management teams to ensure quotes and orders meet defined criteria for factors such as booking and revenue recognition (i.e. Proof of Sell Thru, billing).

Work cross-functionally on non-compliant orders and provide direction and clarity on steps to resolve order issues, including data quality updates that need to be made.

Act as point of contact for Partner and Sales questions relative to quotes, order status, deal registration process adherence, etc.

Communicate and collaborate on process challenges with internal teams for process efficiencies.

Provide specialized expertise and high touch support in complex quoting scenarios, offering insights to optimize pricing and terms for high-value and global priority deals.

Anticipate and address sales needs, providing timely information, resources, and guidance to improve deal velocity and customer satisfaction

Collaborate with legal teams to streamline contract intake processes, enabling quicker review and approval cycles

User acceptance testing when new processes, system functionality, or policies are implemented by taking a holistic view of the levers that affect compliance and profitability

Partner with GFE and Change Managers to provide sales training and enablement of quoting, pricing, and process requirements Improve our Customers’ experience

Ad-hoc responsibilities as needed to support the sales/transaction process

Requirements

Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Operations, and Finance throughout the sales process

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience); MBA a plus

2+ years experience in a Deal Desk/Support, Sales Operations, or Order Administration

3+ years of High-Tech/Software/SaaS industry experience

Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies

Results-driven with excellent attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, dependable with deliverables and deadlines, and ability to multi-task

Strong listening, analytic, and organizational skills

Effective communicator, both written and verbal

Must be proficient with Salesforce.com, Quote and Agreement tools (preferably CPQ and Apptus),
