Job Description

Earn Your Experience and Credits for the ARE® at Morton Buildings

The ArchiTrak™ Program is unique and specifically designed for recent architecture graduates looking to fulfill the work experience requirements needed to become a licensed architect and earn NCARB certification.

Morton Buildings offers positions in a variety of functional disciplines where candidates can learn, practice, and build expertise in the following six required areas:

  • Practice Management
  • Project Management
  • Programming and Analysis
  • Project Planning and Design
  • Project Development and Documentation
  • Construction and Evaluation

This is accomplished through a series of rotations within the company that can include the following:

  • Drafting
  • Order Review/Plans Review/Code Review
  • Project Management
  • Construction Estimating
  • Sales Estimating

With a flexible timeline to complete the program, individuals typically progress through a wide range of design positions. Upon successful completion, candidates will be able to satisfy the Architectural eXperience Program (AXP) requirements. These positions are based at the Morton Buildings headquarters in Morton, Illinois, but may involve placements at other locations on a temporary basis.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Architecture or a Master of Architecture degree from a National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) accredited program
  • Self-starter and motivated individual, willing to learn and contribute at a fast pace
  • Excellent oral and communication skills
  • Strong collaborator and demonstrated experience in teams
  • Eligible to work permanently in the U.S
