RotationEmail a FriendSaveSaveApply NowPosition Summary:The Intensive Care Unit (lCU) staff nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) who uses the nursing process to provide nursing care to patients receiving therapies within the multidisciplinary activities of the ICU Unit. The RN supervises work assignments of the nursing assistants and is responsible to the Nurse Manager. The RN will provide professional nursing care for all patients of the unit according to the established standards, practices and philosophies of Carle Rich land Memorial Hospital (CRMH).Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.Current licensure in the State of Illinois.Minimum of one year nursing experience is preferred.Current or willing to maintain ACLS Certification.Current or willing to maintain PALS Certification.Essential Functions:The RN will use the "nursing process" approach to patient care (assess, plan, implement, and evaluate) making an initial assessment and determining the total nursing needs of patients and their families in the ICU Unit. .
