PLEASE APPLY DIRECTLY THROUGH OUR INTERNAL WORKDAY CAREER SITE.Join Our Community of Food People!As an integral member of the Market Basket Team responsible for over $2 billion in total sales potential, complete product matching to provide the utmost competitive bid analysis for GPOs and business development teams to secure new business/retention while developing a strong partnership and ensuring crucial neutrality regarding competitive situations.This position is remote/virtual which means the work can be completed from anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States territories.This position is remote/virtual which means the work can be completed from anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States territories.Analyze product data and determine pricing strategy to optimize savings opportunities while maintaining quality providing a competitive award-winning analysis.Collaborate and support RFPs (Request for Proposals) by reading and interpreting the RFP language and bid product items to identify complexities and contribute to strategy resulting in awards of multi-million-dollar opportunities.Conduct complex audits to ensure accuracy and competitiveness of bid analysis and incentives provided.Develop and provide summations that identifies strengths and complexities of analysis.Manipulate data to accommodate customer’s special or complex requests.Developing to become a products expert and provide competitive bid analysis.Handle multiple priorities in a challenging environment.Own development at all levels of GPO relationships, including our business partners with merchandising, divisions, directors, and vice presidents by meeting or exceeding deadlines, strong proactive communication, prompt responses, and resolving issues.Assist by coaching our GPOs and our internal partners regarding proper process procedures and guidelines to our fire walls regarding competitive requests.Proactively identify and address concerns regarding data or criteria for analysis and diplomatically request required information.Other duties as assigned by manager.Education/Training:· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in work experience requiredRelated Experience/Requirements:· Minimum 2 years’ experience in pricing analytics, data analysis, or customer support roles utilizing large databases that required strong attention to detail, analytical and reasoning skills.· Previous experience with food products, pricing, or bid experience preferred.· Proficient in Excel required.· Access (data querying) and experienced in Oracle – Discoverer preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:· Professional written/verbal communication skills required.
