At the American Red Cross, your uniqueness can shine!The American Red Cross is looking for a highly dynamic, digital advertising expert who can execute a broad range of promotions and campaign initiatives across online paid media channels. T his role will serve as part of the national digital marketing team for Biomedical Services with a focus on acquiring and retaining blood donors . A successful candidate will have a deep understanding and passion for digital paid media strategies , including paid social, paid search, and programmatic advertising. Additionally, candidates should be highly innovative and bring strong analytical skills to support data-driven decisions. This position is remote, work from home and can be based anywhere in the continental United States. The ability to work Eastern hours is preferred. Some travel will be required . What You Will Do: RESPONSIBILITES:

Develop, implement, and analyze digital advertising strategies and tactics across social, search, display, video and more with a focus on acquiring blood donation appointments

Own digital advertising creative and copy development including: Writing ad copy

Pr oviding creative direction and feedback to a graphic design team

O verseeing stakeholder reviews Coordinating assets alongside internal and external teams

Serve as a liaison with digital ad partners and agencies to help direct and track paid advertising campaigns to deliver highly strategic and innovative advertising solutions that help the Red Cross fulfill our lifesaving mission.

Lead A/B testing and optimization efforts within the paid ads channel to identify new opportunities that increase efficiencies and performance while driving new and returning blood donors to make an appointment .

Compile results and provide expert analysis on ad campaign performance and testing results to uncover learnings and insights. Regularly report to management on findings alongside suggestions for improvements and growth .

Understand and be able to succinctly communicate the value, breadth of opportunities, and implementation/execution requirements of digital advertising initiatives. Ability to innovate and identify new opportunities for testing and/or expansion withi n paid channel s .

Manage campaign budget (s) , including submitting purchase orders and invoices as well as tracking monthly expenditures . Monitor ad spends to ensure efficient CPAs and CPCs and move budgets accordingly and as needed.

Monitor competitors across platforms, industry trends, and best practices .

Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in m arketing, a dvertising or a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

3-5 years of experience in paid digital advertising ( p aid s ocial preferred)

Experience with campaign management , optimization and report development

Experience with creative development, including concepting and developing creative briefs for a graphic design team

Strong quantitative reasoning skills; you must be able to analyze data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations as needed . Experience with Adobe Analytics preferred .

Adaptable and able to flex with changes in prioritization to meet new or changed goals

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills; ability to implement and adhere to and meet deadlines, and project-manage multiple campaigns

Self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

The salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
