Payroll / HR Administrator

Description A Robert Half client located in the northern suburbs is immediately seeking a Payroll / HR Administrator to work fully on-site. The Payroll / HR Administrator will be responsible for weekly and bi-weekly payroll, HRIS, and special projects. The Payroll / HR Administrator will also be responsible for payroll tax, reconciliations, & audits, benefits administration, onboarding, and more.To be successful in the role, the Payroll / HR Administrator will need at least five years of payroll experience in a manufacturing setting. The Payroll / HR Administrator will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs required). Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Windows Vista Familiarity with 401k and RRSP Administration Knowledge of Accounting Functions and Benefit Functions Experience in Check Processing Ability to handle Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees Experience with Epicor and HRIS System Previous work in a Manufacturing Environment is desirable Knowledge and experience in Payroll Tax Returns, Payroll Taxes, and Payroll Tax Reporting Ability to manage W2, Reconcile Payroll, Process Bi-weekly Payroll, and Weekly Payroll Understanding of Tax - Payroll Experience in Onboarding Familiarity with Payroll tasks and responsibilities Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
