Job Title: Lab AssistantJob DescriptionJoin a company that produces at-home testing kits. This role involves working with urine, blood, and fecal samples, so candidates must be comfortable handling all three. Lab assistants will open and sort samples, collect samples, input information into the lab information system, verify patient information, and perform additional responsibilities. These include cutting and coating kit samples, labeling and prepping samples for the technicians, and entering kit data into the system once testing is complete. Other duties include receiving and quarantining specimen packages, checking specimens for acceptance criteria, separating and coding non-testable specimens, assisting in strip manufacturing, logging deliveries of laboratory supplies, manual entry and verification of laboratory results, and other tasks as assigned by the Laboratory Manager and/or Laboratory Supervisor. You will also need to notify your supervisor of any deviations from documented procedures.Qualifications
High School Diploma
Comfortable working around human specimen
