UAT Tester

Description We are in the process of recruiting a UAT Tester to be a part of our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of our applications by executing both manual and automated tests, validating data, and utilizing SQL querying. The position is based in Rosemont, Illinois, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as an application end user Perform technical tasks such as data validation and input/output testing Utilize SQL to query open data sets and perform basic joins Develop and execute automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency Resolve any issues found during testing to ensure compliance with industry standards Leverage experience in the financial industry, preferably in the AML or compliance space, to guide testing procedures Maintain regular communication with the team to report on testing progress and any issues encountered. Requirements Proficient knowledge in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies and practices Strong experience in developing and executing UAT test cases, scripts, and scenarios Ability to identify and document defects and inconsistencies in software performance Familiarity with SQL Server and ability to write and execute SQL queries Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot to find solutions Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and within a team to meet project deadlines Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
