TITLE: Application Engineer Location: Chicago (Remote)
Application Engineer Responsibilities: - Design, write, test, and deploy production-grade software code to maintain and upgrade existing systems that ingest images and metadata into Gallagher Basset's environments.
- Work with Gallagher clients and business partners to onboard new datasets and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Lead the technical evolution of a major piece of our platform
Qualifications: The following technologies are important to us. Although we understand your level of experience may vary in certain areas, you will be expected to be advanced in a number of these areas: - 3 years of progressive experience as an application engineer
- 3 years of experience in designing and building applications leveraging SQL Server on a SQL server platform leveraging (SSIS, TSQL/SQLj)
- 2 years of experience with C#
- Experience in merging TIFF documents is a plus
- Sound ability to communicate both written and verbal
