Reputable area general contractor is seeking to fill an experienced carpenter position. Company is very stable and has work to keep busy year around. Tasks include: framing, trimming, remodeling, etc. This is NOT a temporary job. Looking for a motivated individual who is capable of working alone and is also works well with others. Must have your own transportation and basic hand tools. Company vehicle possible for the right candidate.
An ideal candidate would be experienced with: Layout & framing of wood framed buildings (floor systems, walls, roof, staircases, etc), knowledge of setting trusses, installation of exterior doors & windows including flashings & proper techniques, Wood siding & exterior trim, installation of cabinetry, interior doors, millwork. Steel stud framing not necessary but a plus.
Individuals must conduct themselves in a professional manner and be self-motivated. This position requires working in people's homes and requires a high level of professionalism interacting with our valued customers. Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. If you do not have a driver's license or you have a reoccurring drug problem, don't bother to respond.
Compensation is dependent on experience and breadth of ability. We are willing to pay very well for the right person.
