We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Ride Operators at our traveling amusement park. The Ride Operator will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of rides, providing exceptional guest service, and creating a fun and memorable experience for all park visitors.
Duties:
- Operate and control amusement rides following safety protocols and guidelines
- Ensure all guests meet ride requirements and provide assistance as needed
- Greet guests, check tickets or passes, and manage ride queues efficiently
- Conduct safety inspections of rides and equipment before opening and during operation
- Address guest inquiries, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive park atmosphere
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in ride areas
Skills:
- Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing safety
- Experience in hospitality, guest services, or events management is a plus
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
- Lifeguard certification or experience working with children is advantageous
- Comfortable with public speaking and interacting with diverse groups of people
