Job Title: Diesel MechanicJob DescriptionThis Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for repairs and installs of diesel and medium duty truck systems.Hard Skills
Knowledge of air brake systems: brake adjustment & replacement, chamber replacements, diagnosis of brake systems
Experience in heavy truck & trailer wiring systems
Diesel engine repair knowledge: Cummins, Cat, Paccar, & International engines
Fabrication experience – wire feed & stick welding
Hydraulic pump & cylinder experience
DPF & exhaust after treatment system experience
Truck tire repair & replacement
Medium duty truck experience – Ford F-550 with 6.7L diesel
Small engine repair & diagnosis
Electric trailer brake experience
A/C certified for R-134A systems
Work EnvironmentThe Diesel Mechanic will have their own work area. During the spring, summer, and fall, it is the busy season, with hours from 6:00am to 3:30pm.
