Real Estate Paralegal

Description We are seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join our team based in Quincy, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be managing a wide range of legal tasks related to residential real estate transactions. This includes, but is not limited to, title commitments, title examination, and the preparation of various closing documents. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive residential real estate title examinations and prepare title commitments. Order LLC and other necessary documents for real estate transactions. Prepare and review closing disclosures and settlement statements. Manage the procurement of municipal certificates (Tax certificates). Use Eclosing or similar software for managing and streamlining processes. Monitor and maintain accurate records of customer accounts. Address customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner. Take appropriate action based on monitoring of customer accounts. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Requirements Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal. Proficiency in handling Residential Real Estate matters is a must. Demonstrated experience in managing Title Commitments. Proven ability to prepare and review Closing Documents. Familiarity with the role of a Title Examiner is required. Experience in creating and managing Settlement Statements is necessary. In-depth understanding of Municipal Laws is a prerequisite. Ability to handle and manage Closing Disclosure is essential.
