If you have a passion for helping customers succeed and want to be part of growing services, now is a great time to join CISD.JOB PURPOSE: To serve as a market and divisional consultant for Construction Industries Undercarriage (UC) to develop strategic Aftermarket services and support Aftermarket Solutions Representatives (ASR) in the field and contribute to the Division’s business and long-term leadership position.Geographical Responsibility: Regional, North America (Western USA & Canada)JOB DUTIES: The Aftermarket Marketing Consultant holds a pivotal role in ensuring alignment between internal partner teams, CISD field teams and Cat dealers in terms of aftermarket services and strategic plans.This role is a key interface between CISD Regional Sales teams, the Industries and the Product Groups. Primary Interface: Global Product Managers, Industry Sales Managers, Regional Product Marketing Teams, Industry Product ManagersFocus will be Construction Industries Undercarriage. Incumbents demonstrate creativity, innovation, foresight, business judgment and an aptitude to develop outstanding product/industry knowledge or marketing/distribution knowledge along with the sensitivity to customer financial impact. Incumbents will develop knowledge, recognition and expertise on industry & market requirements, technology watch and regulations.Commercial Support:

Identifying aftermarket issues and develop strategies to overcome them. Supporting the execution of growth and turn-around plans.

Making market driven recommendations on parts targets and growth strategies to achieve regional revenue targets.

Developing defined marketing programs to achieve CISD plans & volume targets, POPS-C objectives and regional net price realization.

Collecting Voice of Market input with the industry group and Voice of Customer from regional field teams.

Leading analysis of industry key competitors’ merchandising strengths, weaknesses, and tactics.

Developing regional go to market strategies and ensuring consistency amongst regional initiatives.

Conducting training for Dealer PSSRs and Regional Leadership to Dealer Parts Product Growth Specialists.

Additional Job Duties:

Consultation and collection of Voice of Customer for New Product/Services Introduction and distribution needs to define and develop aftermarket breakthrough solutions with the industries that would help in market leadership.

Working with senior staff and management in collaborating to industry growth plans, developing regional merchandising programs and rationalization for regional / second level dealer programs.

Providing guidance and training for internal and dealer sales teams, direction for future solutions and industry needs, and sharing this expertise at higher industry levels with business unit management.

Receive mentorship from Direct Leader, Senior Aftermarket Services Consultants, Market Professionals, and Component Application Specialists to develop recognition as specialist in a specific business segment/specialty with regional focus to drive Sales To Users for Construction Industries GET.

Communicate with Industry Product Support Managers, representing the sales teams to those positions.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent years of professional experience

4+ years of progressively responsible job-related experience in the areas of Product Sales, Product Support, Dealer Support, Aftermarket Sales, Technical Support, and/or Strategic Project Management

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

Strong analytical skills that are required to perform detailed analysis and prepare strategic plans.

Demonstrated communication at all levels of partner organizations.

Ability to work effectively in a large matrix organization.

Strong product applications knowledge.

Life cycle cost knowledge of dealers’ and customers’ application, industry and marketplace needs.

Experience with Aftermarket Insights tools and Prioritized Service Events (PSE).

Excellent interpersonal skills dealing with confidential information, sensitive issues and controversial situations.

Highly adept skills developing all types and seniorities of professionals.

Experience creating behavioral changes in organizations.

Proven results motivating others inside and outside Caterpillar to improve performance.

Additional Information:

Peoria, IL is the preferred location for this position.

Remote locations will be considered for this role; however, you must live in region and within 50 miles of a large airport for quick travel.

Relocation assistance is provided to relocate to Peoria, IL only.

Position will require travel up to 50%.

Compensation & Benefits:Base salary for this role ranges from $104,112 to $156,168. Actual salary will be based on experience. The total rewards package beyond base salary includes:
