Skilled TIG WelderPay: $24 - $30Shift: 1st shiftJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in reading blueprints and fully capable of building parts through cutting, measuring, fabrication, and welding. This role involves working with custom parts and requires the ability to use foot pedal controls to maintain a uniform, clean weld.Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints to build parts accurately.

Perform TIG welding with precision and attention to detail.

Utilize hand tools, including angle grinders, drills, and air-tools for polishing welds and prepping materials.

Operate basic forming and machining equipment such as roll-form, pan-brake, drill press, and band saw.

Weld in various positions and directions, working with a variety of material thicknesses and joints.

Pulse the foot-pedal to create a 'stack-of-dimes' weld appearance, minimizing heat transfer.

Understand and apply back-gassing techniques with Argon.

Fabricate with stainless steel materials, ensuring careful handling and preparation.

Ensure all weldments are built accurately to print and tolerance, performing test-fits as needed.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in TIG welding and blueprint reading.

Experience in fabrication and machine setup.

Ability to operate hand tools and machining equipment safely.

Skill in welding various joints and material thicknesses.

Attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Training in hand tools operation and safety.

Experience with stainless steel materials and back-gassing techniques.

Understanding of welding prints and the ability to weld without walking the cup.
