Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team in PEORIA, Illinois. This role is vital to managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring financial stability, and contributing to strategic financial planning and decision-making. The successful candidate will supervise daily financial activities, oversee budgeting and financial forecasting, manage the company's payroll and employee benefits, and provide insights from financial data analysis to drive business performance and growth. This is a permanent position.Responsibilities: Supervise daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor management, credit card accounting, expense reports, and payroll. Oversee the company's budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management. Administer the company's payroll and employee benefits, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and on time. Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives in alignment with the overall business strategy. Stay up to date with legal changes and adapt HR and company policies as needed. Oversee the recruitment and selection process, onboarding, and training programs. Manage Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations to drive business performance and growth. Implement and maintain effective internal cash controls. Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and tax estimates. Coordinate and ensure the completion of the annual audit and tax filings in a timely manner. Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Manage banking relationships, including credit facilities and debt financing. Collaborate with the executive team in the review of financial reports and ensure performance is aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Requirements Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar Demonstrated expertise in using Accounting Software Systems Proficiency in 3M, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Crystal Reports Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Auditing, Budget Processes, Financial Operation, and Vendor Management Familiarity with Credit card accounting and ability to Complete Expense Reports Experience in Payroll, Budgeting - Forecasting, Cash Flow Analysis, Benefits Payroll Understanding of Compensation & Benefits, HR development, Onboarding procedures Ability to handle Payable Invoices, Receivables processing, Aged Receivables, and Cash Activity Experience in Monthly Reporting, Annual Reports, and Banking Operation Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion Excellent problem solving and decision making skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and planning skills.
