Customer Service Representative

Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Food & Food Processing industry, located in PARK RIDGE, Illinois. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks, including data entry of purchase orders and communication with clients once trained. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer purchase orders Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, showcasing your multitasking skills Develop and maintain accurate customer records After completion of training, establish effective communication with clients Utilize your computer skills to manage and monitor customer accounts Ensure reliability and consistency in all tasks and interactions Work collaboratively within a team of Customer Service Representatives. Requirements Proven experience in a customer service role within the Food & Food Processing industry. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers effectively. Proficient in data entry and data management. Excellent problem-solving abilities to handle customer complaints and queries. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure. Familiarity with the food and food processing industry's standards and regulations. Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in using computer software, including Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required. High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a related field is a plus.
