Description We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. The primary function of this role is to support the monthly financial close process, perform account reconciliations, maintain fixed asset records, and assist with standard costing analysis. This role also involves supporting the Accounts Payable process, providing financial data, and identifying process improvement opportunities.Responsibilities: Conduct monthly close processes effectively and in a timely manner Carry out balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies Record general ledger journal entries with proper support Assist in the annual standard cost revision process and perform Standard Costing analysis Utilize Fixed Asset CS software to maintain accurate fixed asset records Uphold internal controls over areas of responsibility in accordance with J-SOX Assign general ledger account codes to PO’s to support the Accounts Payable process Collaborate with auditors during financial audits Update instructions for current procedures/processes as required Engage in ad hoc analyses related to assigned responsibilities Efficiently provide financial data related to assigned responsibilities for both internal and external requests Proactively identify and implement process improvement opportunities to add value to the companyRequirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations and management Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrated skills in conducting Bank Reconciliations Experience with managing and maintaining the General Ledger Ability to prepare and review Journal Entries Familiarity with Month End Close procedures Proficiency in using NetSuite for financial management Experience with Oracle financial software tools Knowledge of QuickBooks for accounting functions Proficiency in using SAP for financial operations Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
