DescriptionWe are currently seeking experienced mig welders to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and joining metal parts using various welding techniques. Your work will contribute to the fabrication of tools, machinery, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in welding and a commitment to producing quality work.Responsibilities
Perform mig welding operations to assemble and fabricate metal components according to specifications
Read blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents to determine welding requirements
Inspect and ensure the quality of welded joints, identifying any defects and making necessary repairs
Set up and operate welding equipment and tools, such as gas torches, welding machines, and grinders
Determine appropriate welding techniques and materials based on the type and thickness of metal being used
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and procedures
Collaborate with a team of welders and other professionals to complete projects on time and within budget
Requirements
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
Proficient in using welding equipment and tools, including gas torches, welding machines, and grinders
Knowledge of different welding processes, such as arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), and gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
Familiarity with different types of metal and their respective welding requirements
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality welds
