Description Job Summary:Working directly with clients, you will lead and manage audit, review, compilation, and financial statement engagements, oversee entry level staff, implement improvements to existing processes, and develop and manage detail oriented client relationships. Industries range from manufacturing and distribution to technology to nonprofits. Clients are primarily located in the Chicagoland area.Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Manage and supervise the execution of external audit engagements of various clients in accordance with relevant regulatory and detail oriented auditing and assurance standards. Keep current and maintain a working knowledge of pertinent information relevant to the client's industry. Oversee engagement management, including managing the budget and progress while monitoring the timeline to complete the job effectively and efficiently. Set the culture for your team and mentor team members in their career development. Build the client relationships by providing an excellent client experience. Understand and utilize Sassetti’s audit processes and procedures. Proactively develop business. Requirements Microsoft Excel, Non-Profit, CPA Eligible Required Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated supervisory experience. NFP audit experience required. Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB Auditing Standards. Ability and willingness to travel as needed. Microsoft Office knowledge including Word, Excel, and Outlook is a must. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. 3+ years of recent public accounting audit experience progressing in scope and responsibility - note this position requires prior experience in public accounting. CPA license or CPA candidate preferred. Attention to detail with strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, time management and PC skills including Microsoft Excel and accounting software proficiency. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
