Description:Formulation Lab Technician
Duties include assisting the Formulation Chemist in the R&D Department.
Must assist with stocking inventory, washing glassware, data entry and general help in the lab.
Provide lab support for 5 Chemists
Come in the morning, calibrate the balance/scale
Unload dishwasher
Follow assignments given from day before from the chemists this could include getting raw materials, mixing raw materials, adding raw materials to a batch, perform viscosity testing, penetration, melting point, prepare samples for submission, document / write up submissions on the computer
Skills & Qualifications:MUST HAVES:
Bachelors degreeany sort of science degree (chem, bio, biochem, physical science, etc). Chemistry is preferred degree but flexible to related science degree
Need someone who has knowledge of the glassware and equipment they are cleaning.
Assist chemists and learn day to day testing
