Perform in vitro dissolution testing using USP dissolution apparatus 1, 2 and 3, perform dissolution method development, validation, and assessment of results with minimum guidance.

Document experimental activities and results in a GMP/GSP compliant fashion using an electronic data acquisition and management systems.

Demonstrate proficiency in numerous scientific software applications to collect, process, and report data ( for example, EMPOWER, IBDS, SLIMS).

Present results and actively engage with local teams.

Resolve and troubleshoot routine scientific and technical issues related to dissolution testing.

Set goals with experimental timelines and execute a strategy in alignment with the goals and key scientific objectives for the research.

Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, appropriate handling of materials, and GxP compliance, where applicable.

QualificationsEducation and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent education with 2 year or more experience in pharmaceutical industry; or Master’s degree or equivalent education with pharmaceutical industry and/or equivalent experience.

Experience with dissolution testing and chromatographic techniques (HPLC) highly preferred

A quick learner who can achieve proficiency in new experimental techniques and highly motivated to drive for results.

Highly developed ability to work as part of a team and an effective communicator.

Demonstrates agility in triaging priorities, pivoting strategy when faced with change, and conflicts.

Creates a positive learning environment, open to suggestions and experimentation for improvement.

Actively supports and instructs less experienced colleagues.
