Job SummaryUnder the direction of management, the HR Coordinator organizes, develops and executes the pre-onboarding and onboarding processes that facilitate and cultivate the new hire experience. Partnering with departments, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders, the Coordinator determines needs, tailors experiences, supports consistency and compliance, and ensures a seamless onboarding experience for all new hires. The HR Coordinator creates and maintains employee files, paper and electronic, for employees across the organization, while administratively supporting the HR Management Team. Thisrole also contributes to organizational culture by directly organizing employee engagement programs and activities.Essential Responsibilities and Metrics

Coordinate the pre-onboarding and onboarding process of all new hires, including:

Communication with all new hires to prepare for their Orientation and first day of employment

Collection and tracking of all required documents including background checks, IM-CANS

certifications, HIPAA certifications, TB Tests, etc.

Coordination with technology contacts to ensure equipment and systems are ready for new

hires

Running of Orientation every two weeks, or as the schedule allows, including the presentation

of materials, scheduling of guest speakers and preparation of all handouts and materials

Maintain records of personnel-related data in both paper and electronic forms and ensure all employment and compliance requirements are met

Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance to team in

response to inquiries

Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, etc., and maintain the team's agenda

Support the administration of employee engagement events and programs, which involves vendor management, staff communication, and event execution.

Other HR administrative duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

1-2 years of Human Resources related experience

Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems a plus

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle data with confidentiality

Good organizational and time management skills

US Work Authorization

1-2 years of Microsoft Office experience
