Description Robert Half has partnered with a prominent Engineering company to find an experienced, organized Network Administrator to join their growing team. To be successful in this role, you should have a can-do attitude and be an organized problem solver who is passionate about ensuring and maintaining a stable network infrastructure. To support the business, you will ensure security, integrity and high-availability of enterprise systems and related components in order to develop, administer and maintain the network infrastructure. The software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems you will be working with are constantly changing. Your commitment to ongoing education will be important for staying current and fully informed. This long-term contract / contract / contract / temporary opportunity is for a Network Administrator who will work in the Niles, Illinois, area.Your responsibilities
Providing control measures for LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam
Arranging and performing network software and hardware upgrades
Troubleshooting and resolving local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related network problems
Managing the operation of all local area networks and services related to wide area networks, following company policies and procedures Requirements - Exceptional skills in troubleshooting, analytics and diagnostics
5+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency with network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations
Basic Network Troubleshooting experience
Wide ranging experience with Hardware Troubleshooting
Quality experience with Network Printers
Proficiency in customer service
Active Directory experience
Knowledge of Superior Customer Service
