Job Title: Commercialization Project ManagerJob DescriptionThe individual in this role will be flexible, busy, and driven by a sense of purpose. They will primarily step in after the benchtop formulation is complete to manage the commercialization and scale-up of products. The day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted, requiring technical support, investigation, troubleshooting, participation in team meetings, and managing both dedicated deliverables and time-sensitive operational or launch activities. The role involves overcoming obstacles and working collaboratively with cross-functional groups both internally and externally.Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive reports and evaluate data.

Provide hands-on support in pilot and manufacturing plants, addressing issues and collaborating with customers and production teams.

Coordinate with various teams and customers to ensure seamless project execution.

Handle random tasks that arise, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Ensure clear and concise communication with project teams within the organization.

Develop and implement activities to ensure the successful delivery of turnkey projects.

Oversee the continuous improvement and execution of turnkey projects, ensuring timely completion to required standards.

Manage and maintain strong relationships with contract manufacturing partners.

Identify potential risks in project execution and develop mitigation strategies.

Continuously improve processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential Skills

3 years of experience in commercialization or scale-up of products, with experience managing multiple projects.

Bachelor’s degree in food science, engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in project management, operations, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with troubleshooting and support.

Proven experience in supporting large-scale, complex projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to ask questions and seek help when needed.

Friendly and adaptable to working in manufacturing facilities.

Flexibility to handle a role without a set day-to-day routine or training manual.

Work EnvironmentFirst shift, Monday-Friday. Travel involved up to 50% of the time, primarily local travel within 1-2 hours' distance. The facility is modern and recently renovated, with a strong company culture. Employees frequently engage in social activities such as lunch, happy hours, and a summer bash. The facility includes an on-site gym. Benefits include 15 days of PTO, 5 sick days, and approximately 10 holidays.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $105000.00/yr.Accrue 15 days per year of PTO. Receive 5 sick days each year.
