Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology leader to oversee our growing IT function to be an advocate for the implementation of new tools and technologies to advance the company and increase efficiency, while continuing to support the implementation and maintenance of the current systems.

In this role, you will be directing the development, standardization, deployment, and management of enterprise-wide computing infrastructure that includes servers, network storage, messaging, telecommunication, data center and back up. You will be responsible for the end-to-end integration of infrastructure components to support the delivery of enterprise services across our growing organization, which includes directing the development and implementation of a secured and high availability computing infrastructure to mitigate risk and maintain continuity

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure transparency and collaboration between the IT department, business, and client-facing teams
  • Responsible for the total administration, planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the quality of services, daily operations, and short/long term planning for the IT department
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of industry and organizational metrics and economic factors and environmental impacts on industry and organizational operations
  • Provide guidance for all information systems, data, and technology for the organization
  • Lead implementation and integration of new technology products and software
  • Create and maintain a current architecture that defines and illustrates the structure, behavior, and interdependencies of the company’s IT systems
  • Direct the development and administration of Information Technology capital and expense budgets and maintain control procedures necessary to ensure compliance
  • Provide responsive advice, counsel, education, and service to the senior/executive-level management concerning IT issues and trends in the IT industry
  • Oversee IT project management activities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including all personnel-related issues

Qualifications

  • 10+ years software development experience
  • 5+ years as a senior leader, growing and managing high performing technology teams
  • Six Sigma, ITIL, DevOps, Agile or PMP certifications.
  • Azure or AWS certifications.
  • Proven experience as a technology leader developing, deploying, and supporting customer-facing SaaS solutions
  • Proven experience developing IT Strategies in similar industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field of study
  • Extensive software development background with the ability to lead and confidently discuss estimates, designs, and architecture
  • Experience defining metrics and KPIs in evaluating service delivery quality and performance levels.
  • Deep technical knowledge of network, server, cloud, mobile, and security technology.
  • Experience implementing programs to ensure compliance with information security standards and legislation.
  • Experience in Agile development methodology
  • Solid database modeling skills that support data-intensive applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts and present to senior-level internal and external executives
  • Results-driven and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
