School Social Worker 2023-2024 AnthroMed Educationis an expanding organization devoted to providing a unique experience for our team of school-based social workers as they provide their services to students. As we are local here in Chicago, our ability to support and advocate for our team of social workers makes us stand out drastically from other organizations. We are currently seeking an empathic and hard-working School Social Worker to support at one of our partner schools in Mundelein for the 2023-2024 school year. The SSW joining will work with the age population of their choice, as this school supports EC-High School students. Location: Mundelein, Illinois 60060 Job Details:
Hours: 8:00 AM-3:30 PM
Provide services to the SSW’s age population preference (school services EC-High School students)
Manage a caseload of 35 students ( 6-7 students in each classroom and the Social Worker will oversee 5 classrooms)
Provide push-in services
Run a group in a classroom every week
May help with crisis situation behaviors
Utilize Embrace for IEPs
Office space is shared with 2-3 other Social Workers in the building

Position Requirements
Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement in Social Work
