Vernon, IL location is seeking a highly self-motivated and detail-oriented PLT QA Tech III Classifier to join our group. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is dependable and accountable.Are you ready to shape the future with us?THE POSITION:QA Technician will be responsible for the following:
Able to classify and inspect tires according to QMD standards.
Notify appropriate personnel of scrap tires that repeat.
Perform various audits, including, but not limited to dirty mold audit, serial audit.
Will be cross trained to perform all QA technician inspection jobs.
Must be able to lift tires for the duration of the shift and place them on the appropriate pallets and conveyors.
QA Technician will follow all plant rules, and will follow departmental safety policies, environmental policies, and chemical handling procedures , including being familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets, (MSDS)
QA Technician will follow standard practice for this specific job and perform all work necessary to obtain quality production.
Perform other duties as directed by the QA Supervisor, Chief Inspector or QA Manager.
