Lead and/or provide significant support to HR projects to improve processes. Provide Human Resources support to assigned U.S.-based client groups, offering guidance on policies, procedures, and employment best practicesServe as the primary point of contact for U.S. employee mobility, including all visa-related matters (H-1B, student visas, green cards), partnering closely with Legal and Global MobilityAdvise managers on complex employee relations matters, terminations, and organizational changes; ensure compliance with U.S. labor law and internal standardsAct as the trusted HR liaison for cross-functional reorganization efforts and workforce planning, with deep knowledge of U.S. employment regulationsLead and support key HR initiatives and cyclical processes such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, and policy reviewsRecommend and implement HR process improvements that drive operational efficiency and employee experienceMonitor and interpret U.S. regulatory and compliance requirements; ensure policies remain current and in line with legal obligations and John Crane standardsDeliver HR-related training sessions as needed; must be confident in presenting and communicating complex concepts to diverse audiencesRegular onsite presence required: 4 days/week at the Morton Grove officeWillingness to travel up to 25%, primarily for training or project-based needsPerform other duties as assigned
