Production MIG WelderJob DescriptionWe are seeking a talented Production MIG Welder to join our dynamic team. This role involves precision welding in a manufacturing environment, focusing on sheet metal and structural I-beams. The ideal candidate will excel in reading blueprints, adhering to welding processes, and ensuring high-quality, defect-free welds.Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on sheet metal and structural I-beams.

Work with materials of 8mm and lower gauge.

Accurately layout parts on large tables (40ft x 40ft) using blueprints.

Grind welded parts to achieve high-quality finishes.

Follow specific welding processes for various parts, including larger tanks.

Utilize scissor lifts, hoists, and overhead cranes to maneuver large parts.

Conduct quality control checks to ensure welds are cosmetically appealing and defect-free.

Essential Skills

Proficient in MIG welding and production welding.

Experienced in sheet metal welding and structural I-beams.

Ability to read blueprints and perform quality control checks.

Skilled in using scissor lifts, hoists, and overhead cranes.

Capable of performing own grinding on welded parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Welding Certification or relevant schooling is a plus.

Experience with flux core welding and production welding.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Openings are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with start times between 5am - 7am and 8-12 hour shifts. Training on 1st shift may last between 2-5 weeks, with the possibility of overtime. Saturdays are scheduled workdays when needed, and Sundays are voluntary. Employees may work in one of two facilities located about a mile apart. The facility is tobacco-free.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
