Specifically, this position is responsible for financial planning and analysis related to Plan, LBE, LRP, decision-making support, and recommendations to Immunology leadership, as well as ensuring timely and accurate submissions of all Immunology deliverables to the US Commercial HQ. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing strategic business supports to facilitate informed decision making of Immunology Pipeline Commercialization Strategy (PCS) SG&A and P&Ls.Main responsibilities to include:

Lead the consolidation process (Plan, LBE, LRP) ensuring accurate and timely integration of Sales Forecast, Pricing and SG&A, and management input to meet overall US Commercial/Global Commercial/Corporate calendar deadlines

Work closely with Forecasting/Pricing/SG&A partners to create alignment and develop models that accurately incorporate business dynamics into a consolidated overall story for all planning cycles

Ensure all financial deliverables are accurate, clear and concise for Executive level review and approval and go through thorough validation prior to submission

Represent Immunology Integrated Finance Team (IFT) in the Center and work with US Commercial HQ on calendar/timelines, follow-ups, and clear and concise deliverables

Provide ad-hoc analyses that lend insights to key business drivers enabling management to adapt more appropriate strategy to meet LBE/Plan/LRP objectives

Strategic lead for the financial planning and analysis process (Plan/LBE) for Immunology PCS SG&A ensuring adequate and appropriate resourcing levels to support pipeline assets

Collaborate strategically with PCS Sales Forecasting team to develop a full P&L view of pipeline assets, facilitating informed decision making regarding pipeline assets.

Responsible for delegating to and coaching Finance Manager and FPD analyst to ensure an optimal level of support to the business and provide coaching and career development opportunities to sustain a high performing staff

QualificationsRequirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Preferred: MBA in Accounting or Finance and/or CPA/CMA

Requires 8-10 years progressive accounting or finance experience.

This position requires an individual with the ability and desire to proactively search out and evaluate business problems and opportunities.

Capability to direct efforts to achieve answers and results.

Ability to solve business problems through the proactive identification of issues and subsequent collection, analysis and interpretation of related data Demonstrated problem solving and analysis within a broad framework of AbbVie’s financial policies (CFMs), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Solid understanding of automated accounting systems such as BPC, SAP, desktop productivity and mainframe accounting application

Preferred: Multi-division experience and knowledge of the financial planning process
