FCI manages a $7 billion loan portfolio, sells 1.5 million acres of crop insurance coverage, and employs 280 staff in the Mahomet headquarters and 14 regional offices.As a Summer 2025 Crop Insurance Sales Intern, you will explore crop insurance sales career paths within FCI field offices and gain valuable on-the-job experience in agriculture and crop insurance.Intern opportunities include completing meaningful projects, job shadowing, participating in a mentor program, learning about agriculture in central/southern Illinois, and becoming part of a family-oriented teams working to serve our members. You will gain exposure to sales by prospecting for potential customers, job shadowing top performing team members, attending sales training, assisting with the submission of acreage reports, and more.We seek students aligned with our five core values - family, integrity, relationships, expertise, and passion - and motivated to find innovative solutions to business needs.Required SkillsCandidates should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, work ethic, integrity and have an eagerness to provide excellent customer service. The Intern must be open to relocation every few weeks during the summer. All business expenses incurred, including hotel accommodations, will be reimbursed.
