Description Regional Accountant to join their growing team on a permanent basis. The role will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. During the monthly close, you will also be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting. You will lend your skills in assisting the development and implementation of accounting policies. In addition, you will review schedules for the reporting processes, take part in compliance, and interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits. This role is very integrated as it plays a part in the production of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries
Month end financials and analysis of variances
Quarter end and year end closing process and interact with General Managers on site regarding financials.
Compose analyses for income statements and monthly balance sheets for management reporting
Special projects and impromptu reporting, upon request
Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll
Conduct month end close and compose journal entries
Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers
Requirements
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting and Finance
Proficiency in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
Month end closings and financial statement preparation a must
Microsoft Excel vlook ups and pivot tables a must
ability to communicate results to management
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
